Awakening

Awakening

Rymättylä, Finland — Autumn 2026

I wandered through the quiet countryside in the early hours of an autumn morning. Dew covered the fields, and mist softened the distant landscape. As the sun began to rise, I noticed a solitary tree standing in the middle of a meadow, its long shadow stretching across the grass.

I hurried into the shadow, drawn by the striking contrast between darkness and light. For a brief moment, the landscape transformed into something almost unreal — a graphic composition shaped by mist, sunlight and silence.

Awakening captures that fleeting moment when the world emerges from darkness and an ordinary landscape becomes something extraordinary.
